Name_________________________       Double or Nothing                   Roger and Floyd are 2 nurses working the evening shift at the Gentle Touch Hospital in Philadelphia.  Roger tells Floyd that he will double the amount of money in his pocket every time he finishes making up a bed.  But Floyd must pay him $4 after his money is doubled.  Floyd thinks this is a sweet deal and takes Roger up on his proposition.  After the first bed is made Floyd's money is doubled and Floyd pays Roger $4.  Floyd is so happy with what he thinks is a gold mine that he doesnÕt realize that by the fourth bed he has made he has run out of money after paying Roger his $4.  How much money did Floyd start out with?       Good Luck!!!!!
